I got my bertello set up in about 20 minutes, which shocked me because stuff like this usually turns into a whole frustrating project. The instructions were clear enough, nothing was overly complicated, and I didn’t have to stop every five seconds wondering what the heck they meant. I’m not exactly super handy, so for once it was nice to put something together without getting annoyed.

This thing gets crazy hot really quickly, which was a nice surprise. I had pizzas in and out faster than expected, and they came out perfectly cooked. felt like a small win for me because everyone thought I knew exactly what I was doing.

It was just hard to use. Setup wasn’t clear. I kept guessing. Then cooking felt like a chore. Not what I wanted

I’ve been impressed with how well my Bertello holds heat. Even after opening it a few times, the pizzas still cook fast and come out great. I figured it would cool down more between cooks, but honestly... yeah, really happy with it.

I’m not the most patient person when I’m hungry, so I was happy with how fast this thing heated up. It was ready for pizza in maybe 15-20 minutes, which is great because I don’t want to stand around forever on a weeknight. The heat does dip a little if you keep opening it, which is annoying, but it bounced back fast enough. Not perfect, but overall I’m happy with it.

The pizza turns out good, so no complaints there... but cleaning this thing is kind of a hassle. Ash and little burnt pieces get stuck in the corners, and trying to reach inside without making an even bigger mess is frustrating. The stone also stains really quickly, even when I scrape it soon after using it. I knew there would be some cleanup involved... I just didn’t expect it to be this much every single time.

The pizza turned out really tasty, with that nice smoky flavor you kind of hope for. The cheese melted really well too, and the crust had a good balance, crispy on the outside but still soft enough in the middle.

I’m giving it 4 stars mostly because it took me a couple tries to get the texture exactly how I like it. I’m assuming once you get the timing down, it’ll come out consistently good, because after I figured it out, it was definitely worth it...

It took me a little while to get the hang of it, and I definitely expected the instructions to be clearer. Once I figured it out though, it worked great and I’m happy with it.

But after using it more, I kind of regret not looking harder at other options. Keeping the heat steady takes more effort than I expected, and the accessories feel way too expensive for what they are. My order also shipped later than the date they showed, and I didn’t get much of an update while waiting.
Customer service did answer eventually, but the replies were slow and mostly just basic. It’s not a complete disaster, but for the price, I really wish it had been less of a hassle...

A few of the accessories have definitely come in handy, but there are some I haven’t used at all. They’re not bad, just not something I really needed, if that makes sense.

I was happy with this pizza oven at first. It cooked well, was fun to use, and it definitely got more attention than the regular grill when people were over. Compared to a few other pizza ovens I’ve seen friends use, it seemed like a solid pick in the beginning.

After about a year, though, some parts started rusting and the door doesn’t line up right anymore. I kept it covered when I wasn’t using it, so that was disappointing. For the price, I expected it to hold up better. It’s not awful, but compared to others people around me have, the durability just doesn’t seem as good.

I’ve been really happy with my Bertello oven. I usually use gas during the week when I want something quick, then switch to wood when I have a little more time to hang out and make it more of an experience. Having both options is super convenient and makes pizza night a lot easier. It took me a couple tries to get the hang of it, but now it’s been great

I picked up the gas burner for my Bertello and overall it’s been a good add-on. It heats up quickly and is definitely easier to manage than wood when I just want to make pizza without too much fuss. It did take me a couple tries to get the flame adjusted the way I wanted, but once I figured it out, it’s been working great. The pizzas cook evenly and the crust gets a nice bottom on it. I’d recommend it if you want something a little more convenient, though I do wish the setup instructions were a bit clearer.

I’ve been using it with both charcoal and wood, it cooks really well. I wasn’t totally sure at first if I was doing everything right, but the results have been great so far.

The bertello oven works fine overall, but I’ll admit I was a little annoyed by how tight it feels inside. It fits a regular pizza, sure, but there’s not much room to maneuver, so turning the pizza gets awkward fast. Maybe I should’ve paid closer attention to the measurements, but still, I expected a bit more space.

For one or two people it does the job, but if you’re trying to make several pizzas for family or friends, it starts to feel slow. It’s not a bad oven by any means, I just wish they gave it a little more room inside instead of making you fight the pizza every time you turn it

My order ended up arriving way later than I thought it would. I reached out to support a couple of times and they basically said something like, “it’s on the way” and “thanks for being patient,” but it still took forever. The product was fine once it got here, but the shipping experience was frustrating.

I ended up going with Bertello after shopping around for a while... i’m happy with it. It’s definitely not the cheapest option out there, but it feels like you get a lot for what you pay. It cooks really well, looks good, and setup wasn’t a hassle. So far, I don’t feel like I overpaid at all... it’s been a good buy.
